Budget Box COVID-19 Response Plan

We are truly living in unique times. The coronavirus pandemic is impacting everyone from our families, to our businesses, to our first responders who are bravely on the front lines. As concern in the community is growing over potential spread, we want to assure you that the team at Budget box Mobile Storage are implementing procedures to ensure that our service remains at our usual high-standard, but carried out in a manner which protects the greater community. 

At this time, safety and the well-being of our customers and team are the greatest priority. We continue to monitor and act on any government, health authority and industry advice and will update this statement as new developments arise.

Here is a list of preventative measures Budget Box Mobile Storage is undertaking to maintain a healthy environment:

• Following closely and adhering to the advice of the Department of Health

• We have cancelled removalist services until further notice.  You can still book a box to be delivered to your home or office, but your belongings must be loaded yourself. We will not provide any removalist services at this time.

• When deliveries are conducted, the driver will maintain a distance of at least 1.5m at all times. There will be no contact between our team and the customer at any time.

• Increase the frequency and depth of cleaning and disinfecting. This means that Handrails, doors and door jambs will be cleaned and disinfected after each delivery.

• Once a box has been emptied it will be disinfected before making available for a new customer.

• Reinforcement of team personal hygiene, proper hand-washing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitisers regularly throughout the day.

• Our team members will be sent to seek medical advice at any sign of symptoms.
